After the graduation of last year’s leading scorer and point guard Jake Eskin, the boys basketball team will need some players to step up and fill his shoes.
The team will be led by seniors Will Lewis, Jordan Bass and Jesse Simon, along with junior Christian Bonaparte who will be taking over the role of point guard for the Bulldogs. The team has also been conditioning and weightlifting to prepare for the season.
“From last year’s team we are more experienced in the sense that we have more people in the upper class that have at least one year of varsity experience under their belts,” Lewis said. “It will helps us win more games.”
The Bulldogs will be home to take on Kennedy Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., in their first game of the season.
