One of the most eagerly awaited movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is “Guardians of the Galaxy 3.” The first two Guardians movies received positive reviews and performed well at the box office, earning over $1.6 billion worldwide. It’s lovable characters, humor, catchy soundtrack and exceptional cinematography helped it to become a large success. Since fans and critics alike are excited for the return of their favorite characters, expectations for the third, and final, installment are quite high.
The third Guardians of the Galaxy film is already looking like a smash for Marvel. The Guardians story is ready to continue in this movie as they set off on yet another interstellar journey filled with challenges and obstacles. Along with the return of well-known characters like Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Drax (Dave Bautista), the movie is also reported to bring new heroes and antagonists to the MCU.

Many are ready to explore some of the unfinished plots from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” This includes the destiny of Gamora, who was supposedly slain by Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War” but was later revealed to be alive in “Avengers: Endgame.” Fans are interested in finding out more information about her location and how her friendship with Quill will develop.

The release date of “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” has also affected expectations for the film. The movie was supposed to be released in 2020, however, the firing and eventual rehiring of director James Gunn caused the release to be postponed. The COVID-19 pandemic has also had an effect and contributed to additional delays. Fans are therefore on the edge of their seat for the movie’s debut in May 2023.

“Guardians of the Galaxy 3” is also getting attention for its world-building connections to the greater MCU. In the Infinity Saga, The Guardians were a crucial aspect in stopping Thanos and keeping the universe safe in “Avengers: Endgame.” Many fans are interested to see how the third movie’s events will fit into the greater Marvel universe and what effect they will have on upcoming movies, perhaps even introducing a new “big bad.”

The cast and crew have been teasing some interesting events in the movie. According to Bautista, the movie will have an emotional tone and go deeper into his character’s background by showing how Thanos killed his family. Gunn has hinted that the movie will approach the subject of “family” differently from the other two movies.

The soundtrack for the movie has high expectations as the first two films featured iconic ’70s and ’80s music that became popular within the franchise. Gunn has stated that he has chosen the songs for the film, and fans are eager to hear what new musical additions will be included in the third installment.

Fans and critics alike have high hopes for “Guardians of the Galaxy 3,” as they look forward to the return of the trilogy’s beloved humor, action, and characters. Early reviews indicate that the movie is shaping up to be a hit and a return for Marvel, despite the fact that Gunn’s absence has caused some spectators to express some trepidation. Viewers are counting down the days until they can finally watch the Guardians of the Galaxy return to action as its release date approaches.
