The Observer has received multiple awards in recognition of its 2012-2013 publications.  The National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) recently awarded the Observer the All-American honor rating, NSPA’s highest achievement, with Marks of Distinction for Coverage/Content, Writing/Editing, Photos/Art/Graphics and Leadership.  The Observer also has won First Place and Best Overall Publication and First Place and Best Overall Website from Baltimore Student Media; the International First Place Award from the Quill and Scroll Society, and a Silver Medal from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
