Mory Gould Commits to Indiana University Diving

Congratulations to senior Mory Gould for committing to Indiana University for 2017-2018. Gould is the reigning regional, state and Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic diving champion.

“I chose it because I loved the team atmosphere. They have three Olympians on the team as well as the Olympic head coach [Drew Johansen],” Gould said.

Despite having only started year-round diving three years ago, Gould has quickly ascended the ranks and won the AT&T National Championships for the 14-15 age group in 2014. Currently, he trains with Dominion Dive Club in Northern Virginia, practicing over 20 hours a week.

In the future, Gould plans to pursue a degree in biology and place in the top 12 divers to qualify for the finals of the 2020 Olympic trials.
