Congratulations to senior Shoruk Hassan for being recognized as one of 1,600 Semifinalists in the 2011 National Achievement Scholarship Program (NASP). According to Hassan, she is one of approximately 4,700 high school seniors whose 2009 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test scores place her among the top three percent of more than 160,000 Black Americans who requested entry to the 2011 National Achievement Program.
