 Yogi Castle, located on Gaithersburg on Darnestown Road, features premium non-fat and low fat frozen yogurt, with your choice of 16 different toppings ranging from Fruity Pebbles to Oreo crumbles and fresh fruit.

 Walking into Yogi Castle, one will see a long countertop lined with high-top neon acrylic seats and wallpaper embellished with castle-like outlining. Choose from seven flavors of yogurt including alpine vanilla, cookies and cream, Reese’s peanut butter, cable car chocolate, New York cheesecake, island banana and original tart.

 Once you have selected the flavor of yogurt, you bring your cup to the toppings bar where you can choose your toppings for your cup of yogurt as desired. The cup of yogurt only costs $.39 an ounce, including the toppings you wish to add.

Caliyogurt, also located on Darnestown Road in Gaithersburg, has walls decorated with a multi-dimensional design to replicate yogurt. Caliyogurt offers non-fat frozen yogurt as well as yogi-fondue, shaved ice or tavalon tea.

 Featuring 37 exotic toppings and 6 fat-free flavors (chocolate, blackberry, mango, honeydew, pink grapefruit, passion fruit, original), you can either get yogurt in a cup, waffle cone or bowl. Caliyogurt is also self-serve and is computed at $.45 an ounce. The yogurt costs $.45 an ounce, but the few extra cents is worth it because of the quality toppings and freshness.

 The seating here offers semi-private cubicles and electrical outlets with free WiFi, a spacious seating area with comfy swivel chairs and some high-top tables as well.

The most recently opened frozen yogurt and cupcake place located in Montgomery Mall’s food court, YoCake, is a must-try for its outstanding “yocake” ensemble. This new creation of frozen yogurt on top of a cupcake puts the taste of both a cupcake and frozen yogurt all in one. YoCake features a whole new way of eating yogurt.

 Similar to the other frozen yogurt places in Gaithersburg, YoCake features a whole new option of yogurt.

 The yogurt comes in three sizes: small, medium and large. You can choose as many toppings as you want, but you are charged per topping, instead of it being weighed per ounce. If you prefer cupcakes, try one from a variety of flavors ranging from coconut to strawberry velvet.
