Winning is fun, but winning in style is even better. While athletes strive to look good on the field, their off-field apparel is just as important.

The recent re-design of the CHS bulldog logo has sparked a new wave of sportswear among the spring season teams.

“I love all of the new gear our teams are sporting,” athletic director Jesse Smith said.

Smith, Principal Joan Benz, two parents from the Booster Club and three CHS coaches designed the new logo to unify CHS and its athletic teams. Although the the type of apparel  varies by team, the logo still does its job.

“All of the items they bought look great and it’s so cool to see that new logo on so many of our athletes after all that we did to create it,” Smith said.

Among the new shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and hats that the players have purchased, a few items stand out a bit more than the rest.

“The lacrosse and tennis teams got some Under Armour sweat suits that look great,” Smith said. “I just saw some t-shirts that volleyball got that look awesome and baseball has some great hats with the new logo.”

One of the most eye-catching pieces of apparel is the boys lacrosse team’s blue Under Armour polo. In addition to the shirt, the team got t-shirts, shorts and sweatshirts.

According to junior lacrosse player Harrison Gerber, he loves the new Under Armour apparel.

However, the boys lacrosse team is not the only team to sport Under Armour apparel. The girls lacrosse team and boys tennis team both got newly designed sweatshirts in the brand.

“The new apparel is pretty nice,” junior tennis player Advait Ishwar said. “We look nice, so it feels good to wear it.”

Hopefully for the bulldogs, the high quality of apparel will transfer into high quality performance on the field.
“Nice apparel does get athletes excited and proud to wear their team’s gear,” Smith said. “I can’t wait to see what our teams in the fall will be wearing.”
