Beginning in the 2010-2011 school year, the leadership class, instead of a TV production class, will produce a daily news show which will replace the morning announcements and the Weekend Edition.

While the TV Production class has been cancelled due to a lack of enrollment, a second leadership class will be offered which focuses on TV production.

The new show will feature a second anchor include more dialogue and news reporting.

“We don’t want to have the students just read the announcements,” leadership teacher Justin Ostry said. “I would like to see in depth sports reporting, weather updates and weekend activities. We plan to broadcast a spectrum of what is going on at CHS.”

Producers Scott Selman and Ostry will co-teach both classes.
